A paper title “Efficient and Trusted Detection of Rootkit in IoT Devices via Offline Profiling and Online Monitoring” co-authored with Xingbin Jiang and Sudipta Chattopadhyay, has been accepted to the 2020 ACM Great Lake Symposium on VLSI (GLSVLSI) that has been held virtually on September 7-9, 2020.
The paper presents a hardware-based deterministic approach for the detection of kernel rootkits in IoT devices based on ARM architectures.
